Chapters would begin with Drizzt narrating some sort of diary and he was annoying for that couple of paragraphs. I mean, I guess it's not wholly unreasonable to expect it to never actually come to pass, particularly given the apparent one-notedness of the author's writing.but the books have been out for at least a few years now, and it seemed relevant to what was being discussed. ![]() Wasn't it kind of always a given, though? All of his old friends were long dead of old age, and he'd outlived everyone, yet the great bloody fool was still trudging on. ![]() I tried to pick up one of the latest a few years ago, (or something), and it was really depressing, in more ways than one. ![]()
